Varieties as garnacha, macabeo, cariñena and xarelo form part of the traditional wine-producing cultivation of the Empordà. To this cultivation nowadays there have to be added foreign stocks as ojo de liebre, cabernet sauvignon, syrah and merlo ,t which have perfectly fitted in the ground that has resorted them and which allows the exceptional coupages of our wines.
Castell de Biart relies on innovation from the respect to tradition to obtain an optimal quality. That's why the cultivation of new varieties has been introduced, keeping the original or the ones which are traditional in the region. All together, arranged with a strict oenologycal control that doesn't cease in trying to achieve symbiotic coupages to round off the serious task of cultivation of vineyard and the careful production. The result of so much attention converges in white and red wines and also in a cava reserva, in limited production, this circumstance permits to attend all the details that make that these wines reach the consumer in excellent conditions to be tasted.
Castell de Biart, in caring for this rigourous trajectory of respect to the environment and the nobleness with the product, tries to achieve a predominant place in the already good appraised world of catalan wines.
